Sierpinski Triangle Part 2

There is an evolutionary theory called Chaos Theory. The theory of the "Big Bang" is an example of Chaos theory (funny they're related huh?). Chaos theory is like this: they say chaos sometimes repeats part of the pattern, creating things. The Big Bang supplied chaos. A visual, repeatable example is the Sierpinski triangle. Read what this guy has to say here. I want to refute that last paragraph. He says that the 'randomness' in the triangle proves evolution. I'll tell you the chaos game.
Draw an equilateral triangle. Label the top point '1,2'. Now label the bottom left '3,4', and the bottom right '5,6'. Pick a random point anywhere in the triangle. Roll a die, if it's a 1 or a 2 , put a point halfway between the last point and the point labeled '1,2', same for the other corners. Do this 20 times (it gets boring, I know-you can also try it online here). Take a break and do 20 more until you have 400 points.( Or do like I did, and get a friend to take turns with.) Looks random at first huh? Then you see the pattern. An evolutionist would say chaos created it. But is it really chaos? It has rules set to create the pattern. If it has rules, is it chaos? I don't think so. We don't know much about the discoverer, but I do know he didn't invent the triangle. He discovered the rules that God set.

Sierpinski Part 1


I'm starting with the Sierpinski Triangle (pictured above). I'll add more details later, but for now, I'm still learning how my blog works. I'll post more about the fractal and the man that discovered it in a later post. (Hopefully not too much later!)
